    Can I join your team in exterior design? I don't copy car brands, I make up my own. I have a few sketches, they look good to me and one of my aunts that's in real-e$tate. That's what brought me to look at your blue car, the look of it, if it looked funny I wouldn't bother trying to join your team.

    Let me guess. This effen mess was offered at an 'unbelievable' price to the customer. Your patience, at least what your recorded, is phenomenal! Then again, at least they answered the phone and stuck with you until every one of their screw ups was dealt with.

    I think the dash looks better in person than it does on video. The spaces on the left and right of the display look so empty - maybe a high quality analog clock would be nice there - I'm not sure. Not sure, what, beside the clock to put in there - maybe outside thermometer also analog.

    Yes he is right does not look great. When going this far remove components screen/ shift lights and cpu (you have the skills) and create dash/housing “new housing” then its clean and custom. Also won’t be sinking back and look like 3 piece not meant to be together. Plus when 3d printing design break aways. Strong enough to mold but placed meant to break 3d printing easily off.

    Aem's setup is nice in that its a no-code solution ...... But if you ever revisit this, i highly recommend looking into something called Realdash, which can run on a raspberry pi 5 pretty smoothly, and is INCREDIBLY customizable, as well as running on a linux box so the customer scripting sky is the limit

    I don't like the display, sorry. I think you can do better with the display. After all, it is the focal point for the driver. I think the screen is too small. A larger screen that takes up the entire cavity would be nicer. Perhaps you can get plexiglass cut and shaped to fit instead of the carbon fiber. Another thing I would do is take the bezel completely out of the screen, and mount it flush to the plexiglass. You could embed a couple of round LCD screens on the sides to display whatever you wish. You can darken the plexiglass in the areas where you don't have anything to display.

    • @eslmatt811
      @eslmatt811 14 годин тому

      I agree that would look better, but that would take much longer to create and trouble shoot. Just getting the same screen working on the electric Hummer was not simple. Never underestimate how frustrating the CAN system can be. Even better than the screens, stepper control the original gauges. But hey if the customer is happy with the screen, why do that much work.

    • @muneeb-khan
